Nassau County Intl cricket stadium ready for T20 World Cup action

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 ambassador Usain Bolt got a first look at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, along with cricket legends and New York sports icons.

Joining Bolt in this special preview were USA cricketers Corey Anderson and Monank Patel along with cricket legend Sir Curtly Ambrose (West Indies), Shoaib Malik (Pakistan), and Liam Plunkett (England).

According to a report in UK’s The Guardian, no play ensured that Cricket Ireland suffered losses of $89,700 as they needed to refund 5100 tickets bought by spectators to celebrate the occasion.
