Fourteen-year-old Divyanshi Bhowmick, dual gold medalist (U-15 & U-17) at the recently-concluded WTT Youth Contender Vadodara, became the most expensive buy at the Table Tennis Super League (TTSL) Maharashtra auction, joining PBG Pune Jaguars for INR 82,000. 

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jash Modi, who defeated Sathiyan Gnanasekaran to win the 38th National Games men’s singles gold, joined Bayside Spinners TT for 81,000 at the auction held at NSCI Mumbai.

Dream Sports Foundation is set to debut the first-ever U-15 table tennis tournament.  Dream Sports Championship Table Tennis 2025, supported by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), will take place between March 17 and 22 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), India’s premier table tennis league, will return for Season 6 from May 29 to June 15, and will see Ahmedabad playing host for the first time.  The state-of-the-art EKA Arena, a venue that has staged marquee sporting events such as the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and 2019 Intercontinental Cup (football), will be the host venue, providing the perfect backdrop for UTT’s sixth season.
