Tickets to the event will be put on sale to the general public on Thursday, July 15, beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Additionally, longtime US Open partner American Express will offer a US Open ticket pre-sale for American Express ® Card Members from Monday, July 12, beginning at 9 a.m. ET, and concluding on Wednesday, July 14 at 8 p.m. ET. PARIS: World No.2 Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from Roland Garros. The reigning Australian Open champion announced her decision Monday on social media.    Before the start of the French Open, Osaka said she would not partake in post-match media during the tournament because of the toll it can take on the players' mental well-being.

PARIS: Naomi Osaka has been warned that she faces a default from the French Open if she continues to shun her media obligations. The world number two followed up on her unilateral declaration made on the eve of the tournament that she would not attend any press conferences at Roland Garros citing "mental health concerns" by doing just that following her first round win on Sunday.

MILAN: Serie A has brought in the big artillary in its ongoing fight against online piracy, agreeing a deal with Google that will see the technology giant remove video apps from its content platform that enable users to illegally watch live games. “Google has removed from its Play Store apps illegally reproducing contents owned by Serie A,” the league said in a statement.
