Disney Star has achieved a cumulative reach of 475 million viewers accompanied by 245 billion minutes of total watch time, a growth of 18% in consumption compared to the previous edition, according to the latest data released by BARC.

The broadcaster has also recorded a growth of 5% on TV reach for live broadcast compared to the previous highest recorded in 2019. Disney Star also witnessed a growth of 19% in TVR for the first 34 matches compared to the previous edition.

MUMBAI: JioCinema, the official digital streaming partner of TATA IPL 2023, made a blockbuster debut with a stellar opening weekend, the Reliance-owned platform asserted Monday.  The number of video viewers for the first weekend alone on JioCinema eclipsed what was recorded across the entire last season of TATA IPL on digital, the stremer declared. This was also higher than the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

MUMBAI: Disney Star, the official television broadcaster of IPL 2023, clocked a total of 8.7 billion minutes of consumption on TV for the opening match, a 47% growth in comparison to last year, the network asserted, quoting BARC 2+ (Urban+Rural) data. The broadcaster further said that its rating grew by 29% as per the BARC, Male 15+AB (Urban) data.

NEW DELHI: Prime Volleyball League Season 2 witnessed a 55 percent increase in viewership, the organisers announced Tuesday. PVL Season 2, which had eight teams competing, was aired on Sony Sports Network in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam in the Indian subcontinent and globally on Volleyball World.

A survey commissioned by the NFL has declared that approximately 200 million viewers - 60% of all people in the United States - watched Super Bowl LVII on February 12. MUMBAI: TAM AdEx has released its "Advertising Report on Female Sports Celebrities", based on Ad Volumes for TV (excludes promos).  The key takeaway from the report is that while cricket is far and away the most popular sport in India, it only ranked fourth in terms of ad volumes of endorsement ads featuring female celebrities. The top spot was taken by badminton, boasting a whopping 49% share of ad volumes.
