COLOGNE: The Central European division of Universal Music Group (UMG) have announced a multi-year partnership with ESL Gaming, the world’s biggest eSports company that will be managed out of UMG’s Berlin headquarters.

The aim of the agreement is to exclusively help Universal discover and promote new artists through ESL’s global tournaments and channels. In an industry first, UMG will partner with ESL to create the ultimate destination for gaming and music fans alike to experience the official soundtrack of the world’s esports leagues and tournaments.

LONDON: Premier League club Arsenal confirmed Africa’s Rwanda Development Board as their first official sleeve partner on Wednesday.  As a part of the deal, ‘Visit Rwanda’ will become Arsenal’s official Tourism Partner and its logo will feature on the left sleeve of all teams next season.  The new kit for season 2018/19 was unveiled on Tuesday.

PERTH: Cricket Australia (CA) announced on Wednesday a four-year partnership with Western Australian energy company, Alinta Energy.  As part of the deal, the company will become the principal partner as its logo will be showcased on all jerseys of the Australian men’s cricket team. It will also partner CA’s national digital platform MyCricket from July, that extends from the elite level to grassroots cricket.

NYON, Switzerland:  UEFA announced Tuesday the extension of adidas’ partnership with the Champions League for the 2018-21 cycle as Official Match Ball Supplier, continuing its relationship with the German sportswear company which began in 2001.  The agreement also covers the right to supply the official match balls for UEFA's Super Cup, Youth League and Futsal Champions League between 2018 and 2021.
