SAN FRANCISCO: Golden State Warriors’ superstar Draymond Green could very well own the trademark of the name ‘Hampton 5’.
‘Hamptons 5’ is a title given to the playing group of Green, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala, all of whom are the team’s exceptional players who have a combination of speed, athleticism, playmaking and scoring ability.
On the United States Patent and Trademark Office website, the listing for "Hampton 5" was filed by Green's company, Money 23 Green Enterprises, in 2017. Reportedly, now he just has to file 1 more document to finish the process.
The Hampton 5 trademark applies to everything from clothing to sports drinks to DVDs, phone cases, comic books and more.
