Disney Star has achieved a cumulative reach of 475 million viewers accompanied by 245 billion minutes of total watch time, a growth of 18% in consumption compared to the previous edition, according to the latest data released by BARC.

The broadcaster has also recorded a growth of 5% on TV reach for live broadcast compared to the previous highest recorded in 2019. Disney Star also witnessed a growth of 19% in TVR for the first 34 matches compared to the previous edition.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Thursday announced a partnership with China Mobile Migu for the 2021 to 2024 rights cycle.  The deal was led by Super Sports Media and Football Marketing Asia (FMA) – the exclusive commercial partner of AFC competitions for the rights cycles 2021-2024 and 2025-2028.

PORT OF SPAIN: The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) saw a 67% increase in television, streaming and digital viewership in 2020, reaching 523.5 million viewers and passing half a billion for the first time in the tournament’s history.  The research was independently compiled by YouGov Sport, a division of SMGInsight, one of the world’s largest and most respected research firms.

MUMBAI: The share of ads featuring a sports celebrity, as against a film celebrity, has gone up 3% in Indian Premier League 2020 - from 14% during IPL 2019 to 17% in the recently concluded 2020 edition.   As per the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data, this IPL has witnessed a 3 per cent growth in the ads featuring sports celebrities versus Bollywood celebrities.
