MUMBAI: Hero Caribbean Premier League franchise St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will be under new ownership for the upcoming CPL. City Sports, Hong Kong - part of the City Group of companies, bought the franchise from businessmen Uday Nayak and Mohammed Ansari, who owned the team in partnership with the government of St Kitts & Nevis.

NEW DELHI: FC Basel Holding AG announced on Wednesday it is taking a minority stake (emphasis ours) in Chennai City FC (CCFC).  According to the deal, FC Basel Holding AG will acquire a 26% stake in the I-League club and will see the Swiss club lend technical expertise and knowledge to their Indian counterparts.

NEW YORK: Sports data provider Sportradar the Tuesday announced the expansion of their global board including four prominent international names: Tony Aquila, Marc Walder, Herve Couturier and George Fleet.  These four join shareholder representatives Carsten Koerl (CEO of Sportradar), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), and Silicon Valley-based growth equity firm TCV on the Sportradar Group board.
