NEW DELHI: Star Sports Friday announced its partnership with the Asian Legends League as official broadcast partner for the next three seasons, spanning from 2024 to 2026. 

The Asian Legends League, a platform for former retired cricket legends from Asian countries, is set to showcase the talents of iconic players in a league format.

The league, organized by World Sports Group (WSG), will feature five franchise teams representing renowned cricketing nations: Indian Royals, Sri Lankan Lions, Bangladesh Tigers, Pakistan Stars, and Afghanistan Pathans.

MUMBAI: The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) returns to the shores of the east coast following a two-year hiatus for its fifth season that gets underway from July 19th to August 15th with LIVE action on Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 2 and Disney+ Hotstar VIP.  It bears noting that Star Sports has been the host broadcaster for TNPL since the tournament's inaugural edition in 2016.

While financial terms were not disclosed, SportzPower can reveal that Sony Pictures Networks India had also put in a bid.
