COLOGNE: The Central European division of Universal Music Group (UMG) have announced a multi-year partnership with ESL Gaming, the world’s biggest eSports company that will be managed out of UMG’s Berlin headquarters.

The aim of the agreement is to exclusively help Universal discover and promote new artists through ESL’s global tournaments and channels. In an industry first, UMG will partner with ESL to create the ultimate destination for gaming and music fans alike to experience the official soundtrack of the world’s esports leagues and tournaments.

MUMBAI: Danish beer major Carlsberg is celebrating its partnership with Liverpool Football Club by launching limited-edition ‘Champions’ cans across various cities in Maharashtra.  This his limited-edition packaging will see Carlsberg switch its green colour to Liverpool FC’s iconic red. MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League governing council Tuesday announced digital brokerage firm Upstox as the fifth official partner for the IPL, which will begin on April 9th.  This will be a multi-year partnership, the IPL GC confirmed.  It bears noting that Upstox has already taken a position on the IPL, signing up with Disney+ Hotstar, the IPL's official streaming partner, as a "co-powered by" sponsor.
