BCCI set to sign adidas as Team India shirt sponsor: Report

Leading sports apparel brand adidas is reportedly "very close" to sealing the deal as shirt sponsor of the Indian cricket team for the next five years. 

The adidas deal is expected to begin from June this year and end in March 2028, Cricketnext reports.

The rights are currently with Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, parent brand of Killer Jeans. It bears noting that Killer Jeans was onboarded as a "filler" after MPL Sports, the surrogate apparel brand of fantasy gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL), pulled the plug early on its shirt sponsorship deal with the BCCI.

Barca set to ink Nou Camp naming rights deal with shirt sponsor
MADRID: FC Barcelona are reportedly close to sealing a naming rights deal with the Laliga club's shirt sponsor Rakuten for their ‘Espai Barça’ Nou Camp regeneration project.  The development follows on from the Barcelona city council approving the club's stadium renovation plan in April. According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Rakuten "aspires to acquire the naming rights".
