NEW DELHI: Vinod Rai, head of the two-member Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA), has confirmed that the BCCI’s 2018 annual general meeting (AGM) and fresh board elections will be conducted anytime within the next three months.  The development comes close on the heels of the the CoA registering the newly-formed BCCI constitution with the Tamil Nadu Registrar of Societies in Chennai.

NEW DELHI: The head of the BCCI’s Committee of Administrators (CoA), Vinod Rai, on Monday revealed that the new constitution for the Indian cricket board, which was being prepared in line with the Supreme Court order issued earlier this month, would be ready in the next few days. “We are almost ready with the new constitution and it will take maybe another couple of days,” Rai told PTI.

NEW DELHI: The Committee of Administrators headed by Vinod Rai has recommended to the Supreme Court that it could reconsider the ‘one state, one vote’ policy that has for long been a bone of contention between the BCCI and the CoA.  The selection committee’s decision to revert to five members rather than three (as recommended by the Lodha panel), will also be reconsidered, Hindustan Times reports.
