NEW DELHI: German sportswear giant adidas on Tuesday pointed out unstable import duty rates that too without warning on most occasions in India as one of the biggest obstacles for the company when it comes to its operations and future investment planning, Press Trust of India reports.

The MNC sells both locally-sources and imported products in India. However, adidas India’s MD, Dave Thomas believes that bringing more imported ones were a must for adidas to showcase its ‘full story to India’, something which he feels consumers deserve.

MADRID: MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports has agreed terms with global eyewear giant Oakley to take title rights to the Italian Grands Prix in both 2017 and 2018, with an option to extend the deal for the 2019 season, with the events to be known as the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley.

LONDON: Ahead of the unveiling at Silverstone of its 2017 contender on Wednesday, Formula1 outfit Sahara Force India made a slew of partner announcements.  Newly on board are Orange Bus as digital partner, FXTM as trading partner and London-based fashion brand Farah as apparel partner, while its two-year association with Hype Energy as energy drinks partner has been extended for another season.

HONG KONG: OneAsia has confirmed its’ early season schedule for 2017 with four events set to be staged between now and August, including two national Opens. Following the Qualifying School, being played at Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club from March 7 to 10, the first tournament to tee-off will be the Volvo China Open at Topwin Golf and Country Club in Beijing from April 27 to 30.
