Delhi-based Omaxe Ltd announced Monday that the realty firm's wholly owned subsidiary and SPV - Worldstreet Sports Center - will be developing India's first integrated multi sports facility consisting of an international cricket and football stadium, an indoor stadium along with a retail and hospitality hub spread across an area of 50.40 acres in Delhi's Dwarka area for around Rs 1,500 crore ($180 million). 

The cost of construction will be funded through internal accruals and the company is expecting a revenue of around Rs 2,500 crore through the sale of retail units.

MUMBAI: Star India announced on Monday that it will be broadcasting the second season of KBD Juniors, India’s largest televised school sports outreach programme on Star Sports and Hotstar in association with Star's subsidiary company Mashal Sports, the co-owners and organisers of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League.  Both the events will run simultaneously in the same 12 cities at the same time.

MUMBAI: Mashal Sports Pvt Ltd., the organizer and rights holder of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, announced the fixtures for Season VI, beginning October 5.  The sixth season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi will begin in Chennai, and will travel across 13 cities, with the final showdown in Mumbai on January 5, 2019. Fans can catch the action at the stadiums as well as on the Star Sports Network and Hotstar.

MUMBAI: Star India controlled Mashal Sports, promoters of VIVO Pro Kabaddi, have announced that the sixth season of the competition will begin on October 5 this year and the finals would be held on 5th January 5, 2019. With the Asian Games to take place in Indonesia during the months of August and September, a decision has been made to postpone the event.

DUBAI: Janardan Singh Gehlot was re-elected the president of the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) for the next four years, it was announced after the annual general Congress (AGC) of the federation, conducted here on Friday. Observer and director of International Affairs Olympic Council of Asia Vinod Tiwari was also present in the AGC of the IKF where 22 member countries participated.
