Bids invited for servicing BCCI & IPL digital properties

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invites bids to provide services in relation to the design, hosting and maintenance of the digital properties of BCCI through a tender process. 

The BCCI is issuing two Request for Proposals (RFP) which are as follows:
1.     For Digital Properties of BCCI i.e., BCCI website (www.bcci.tv) and BCCI Mobile Applications for BCCI International and Domestic Matches (“BCCI Digital Properties”)

BBC seal 2-yr IPL rights deal with Dubai's Channel 2
DUBAI: The BBC has signed a two year deal with Channel 2 Group Corporation (Dubai) to broadcast the Indian Premier League. BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and the BBC Sport website will broadcast ball-by-ball commentary of the IPL, with coverage also on BBC Radio 5 Live and the BBC Asian Network.

SC sets aside BCCI's life ban on Sreesanth
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday set aside the life ban imposed on former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth by the Board of Control of Cricket in India for his alleged involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scandal. A Bench comprising justices Ashok Bhushan and KM Joseph said the disciplinary committee of the BCCI may reconsider within three months the quantum of punishment to be given to Sreesanth.

CSK to open IPL ticket sales March 16
CHENNAI: Tickets for the Indian Premier League defending champion Chennai Super Kings' opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium will go on sale from March 16. The online tickets of CSK's home matches will be available on BookMyShow while counter tickets will be on sale at the stadium from 11.30 am onwards.
