Somany Ceramics marks entry in IPL, partners LSG

Ceramic tile major Somany Friday announced its association with Indian Premier League franchise Lucknow Super Giants as their official partner. 

With this partnership, LSG will flaunt Somany's logo on the helmet and caps.

Abhishek Somany, managing director of Somany Ceramics, said of the partnership, “Our slogan for the partnership is ‘Har andaaz mein zameen se jude’ which is a fusion of Somany's rooted values of “Zameen se Jude” and LSG's “Gazab Andaaz” slogan”. We are excited about the vision that the LSG franchise possesses alongside the leadership they're backed by.”

RPSG Group names its new IPL franchise as Lucknow Super Giants
MUMBAI: One of the two new franchises in the Indian Premier League has been given a name. Lucknow Super Giants was unveiled Monday as the name for the IPL team bought by the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group for a record sum of Rs 7090 crore ($940 million approx.) in October last year. Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka said the name for his franchise had been finalised based on a crowd-sourced campaign.
