MUMBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC), on the basis of projected income, hopes to get a tax exemption of around $100 million for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2021 and the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023 from the Indian government.
It is the prerogative of the BCCI to get the waiver from the government.

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Thursday that PepsiCo chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi has been appointed to the ICC board as the organization’s first independent female director.
Ms Nooyi will join the board in June to align with the term of the ICC independent chairman, following the unanimous confirmation of her appointment at Thursday’s meeting.

NEW DELHI: Physical education company Shape India announced Wednesday it had secured $200,000 in a Pre-Series A investment from Sandeep Mathur, former CEO of Oracle India.
Shape India, which is a physical education organization with a customized curriculum and a structured approach to "shape" children for their Lifetime, will use the investment for digital transformation, an official release states.
