MUMBAI: Talk about leaving it till the very end. Literally on the last day as it were, Google parent Alphabet reportedly purchased the Invitation To Tender (ITT) document for the media rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

The ITT was available for purchase till May 10.

Google owns streaming and video platform YouTube and joins a handful of parties that have reportedly picked up the IPL ITT.

MUMBAI: Google is celebrating the commencement of the Winter Paralympics in the South Korean city of PyeongChang on Friday with a special doodle.  Google's special animated design shows para-athletes racing downhill together. The Athletes are racing to capture a spot on the podium in six qualifying sports- alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, para ice hockey, snowboarding and wheelchair curling.
