NEW DELHI: Badminton World Federation (BWF) have cancelled the 2021 edition of the Syed Modi India International. Badminton Association of India (BAI) made the decision in consultation and collaboration with local government authorities and the BWF. The tournament, which is a BWF World Tour Super 300 event, was to be held in Lucknow from 12 to 17 October.

New Delhi: The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has announced strong squads for the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals, scheduled in Denmark from October 9-17. BAI has also named a 12-member Indian team for the Sudirman Cup, which is slated to take place from September 26 to October 3 in Finland.

NEW DELHI: The domestic badminton season in India, which was scheduled to resume in Bengaluru after a gap of over one and a half years, has been stalled yet again after local authorities denied permission to host the events.   The first senior tournament (both men and women) was scheduled to be held from August 27 to September 3, while the second event was supposed to be staged from September 4 to 11.
