MUMBAI: Disney Star, official television broadcaster of TATA IPL 2023, announced Thursday that 369 million (36.9 crore) viewers tuned in to the network's live broadcast for the first 19 matches of the tournament, "breaking all viewership records".

Referencing BARC data (2+ U+R - Disney Star Network + OOH for Live Broadcast), the network asserted that 36.9 crore viewers tuning in is the highest ever in IPL history, even after considering the two editions of IPL played during Covid.

MUMBAI:  The VIVO IPL final on May 27 between between Chennai Super Kings and Sun Risers Hyderabad was watched by 160 million viewers across the Star TV network, the highest television reach recorded for any match in the history of the tournament. The match recorded a viewership growth of 34% with 52.9 million average impressions on the network, it was announced on Thursday.
