FSDL announces eISL season 2 in association with EA SPORTS

MUMBAI: Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) today announced the second edition of eISL, its esports venture in collaboration with EA SPORTS and with NODWIN Gaming continuing as the strategic partner. 

Hero Indian Super League is the only major sports league in India with an official football esports competition and the new season is set to be played between February and May 2023 in a league and playoff format leading up to the final in May to determine the champions.

Nodwin Gaming names former Viacom 18 exec as CEO
MUMBAI: Former Viacom 18 executive Sidharth Kedia has joined esports company Nodwin Gaming as CEO to spearhead and drive the online gaming business in India. Kedia will be based out of Mumbai where he will open the first regional office for Nodwin Gaming.

Viacom18, Nazara to launch gaming fest DreamHack in India  
MUMBAI: The RIL-owned entertainment network Viacom18 and Nazara-owned gaming and eSports company Nodwin have joined hands to bring the world’s largest gaming festival, DreamHack to India. NESCO in Mumbai will be the hosts for the DreamHack India event from 21-23 December this year.

Nazara takes controlling stake in gaming co Nodwin
NEW DELHI: Mobile games publishers Nazara Technologies Ltd has acquired a 55 per cent stake in Gurugram-based Nodwin Gaming Pvt. Ltd, a gaming solutions company and creator of e-sports events, through a cash-and-stock deal. Post acquisition, Nodwin will become an independent subsidiary of Nazara. The financial terms of the acquisition was not disclosed.
