NEW DELHI: Delegates from FIFA are currently in India for a three-day meeting with the AIFF to help inculcate the Talent Development Scheme (TDS) in the country.

FIFA delegates Juerg Nepfer, head of Technical Development Services, and Chokey Nima, Regional Technical consultant, Global Football Development, South Asia, met with AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey and secretary general Dr Shaji Prabhakaran on Day 1 of the meet.

Diking is known in China as a leading brand in men’s business attire. Courtesy this sponsorship, the firm will gain a variety of rights such as brand association rights in Asia, LED board exposure during FIFA World Cup events and access to tickets.

GENEVA: Ahead of the World Cup in Russia, FIFA has filed a criminal complaint against online ticket platform Viagogo – the same reseller used for the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens – in its crackdown on unauthorised ticket resales.  Football’s governing body reportedly received several complaints from individuals, consumer protection bodies and other market players over the deceptive business conduct of viagogo.

NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is planning for tournaments that can help create a team that is well prepared for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2019 in Peru, the Press Trust of India reports.  The AIFF wishes that India's U-16 team participates in a four-nation tournament in Japan.
