NEW DELHI: The Bureau of the FIFA Council Friday lifted the suspension that was imposed on the All India Football Federation (AIFF) due to undue third-party influence. 

The decision was taken after FIFA received confirmation that the mandate of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators that was set up to assume the powers of the AIFF executive committee had been terminated and that the AIFF administration had regained full control of the AIFF’s daily affairs.

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has submitted its inputs on the draft proposal prepared by the Committee of Administrators (CoA) on the new constitution of the BCCI before the Supreme Court. Last month, the Supreme Court had pulled up the Indian board for delays in implementing the recommendations of the Lodha committee.

MUMBAI: The Committee of Administrators (CoA) has decided to disburse funds to the tune of Rs750 million for various state units including those who are hosting international matches this season. “The BCCI today (Wednesday) decided to disburse Rs75 crore (Rs750 million) in all for various state units. It includes those associations who have also raised invoices,” a senior BCCI official told PTI.
