LONDON: Formula 1 will end the long-standing practice of using walk-on grid girls, commencing with the start of the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season.  These changes also apply to F1's other motorsports series that take place during the Grands Prix weekends such as F2.

GENEVA: Swiss watch brand Anonimo has added to its portfolio of motorsport partnerships with a new multi-year agreement as the official timekeeper of the FIA World Rally Championship starting with the 2018 season, which kicked off last weekend with the legendary Monte-Carlo rally, the first of 13 rounds this year (see below for full calendar).

LONDON: The Force India and Sauber teams have withdrawn the complaint they lodged with the European Commission (EU) on the subject of anti-competitive practices in the sport of Formula 1. The grievance was filed with the EU back in 2015, prior to the takeover of Formula 1 by its current owners, who have subsequently engaged all the F1 teams in detailed discussions concerning the running of the sport.
