NDTL suspension: India plans CAS appeal

NEW DELHI: India will file an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland against the World Anti-Doping Agency's decision to suspend the accreditation of National Dope Testing Laboratory, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Friday. Rijiju said it was disheartening that WADA had taken such a decision after the NDTL had begun a "course correction" of issues faced by it "in the past".

ITF postpones India-Pak Davis Cup tie to Nov

LAUSANNE: Taking cognisance of India's concerns, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has postponed next month's Davis Cup Asia/ Oceania Group 1 away tie between India and hosts Pakistan. BCCI state units told to complete election process by Sept 14

MUMBAI: BCCI electoral officer N Gopalaswami on Friday made it clear that all the affiliated state units will have to conduct their polls by September 14 to be eligible for participating in parent body's elections, which the CoA has tentatively scheduled for October 22, a newswire PTI report said.
