The All India Football Federation Executive Committee has approved the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Policy on Wednesday.

The policy is to be implemented with immediate effect.

Based on the PoSH Act 2013, the AIFF PoSH policy is aimed to ensure a safe and inclusive environment within the football fraternity.

LAUSANNE: The  bitter power struggle that has has wracked the International Boxing Association has ended with AIBA president Ching-Kuo Wu agreeing to step down after 11 years at the helm.  The Swiss-based organisation has been riven with in-fighting for months, with Wu pitted against most of the executive committee who failed to remove him through a vote of no confidence tabled in July.

NEW DELHI: Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who served as president of the All India Football Federation for almost 20 years before a severe heart attack and stroke he suffered in 2008 put him in a coma, passed way Tuesday at around noon.  Dasmunsi, who was also the first Indian to serve as a match commissioner in a FIFA World Cup game, died at the capital's Indraprastha Apollo Hospital at 12.10pm.
