LAHORE: Cricket fans in Pakistan will be able to watch the seventh and eighth editions of the HBL Pakistan Super League on A Sports and PTV Sports after a consortium of ARY and PTV submitted the highest bid, pursuant to a public tender process, for a TV broadcast deal with the Pakistan Cricket Board for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

KOCHI: The first Prime Volleyball League auction held here Tuesday saw 84 players from the 400+ that went "under the hammer" being picked up by PVL's seven franchises. Ashwal Rai, Karthik A and Jerome Vinith were acquired for the highest bids (Rs 1.5 million) by Kolkata Thunderbolts, Kochi Blue Spikers and Calicut Heroes respectively.

THE BAT USED BY THE LEGENDARY DONALD BRADMAN in the 1934 Ashes series, with which he scored two triple-centuries, is up for auction. Bradman had also used the bat to score his highest ever Test partnership of 451 runs with opening batter Bill Ponsford, PTI notes. The bat has been on display at the Bradman Museum in Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands since 1999, on loan from a private owner.
