NEW DELHI: The most powerful cricket body in the world has yet again been forced to eat humble pie after falling at the wrong end of the stick on the legal front. Needless to say, it is a seriously expensive pie. 

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly ready to cough up compensation of over Rs8 billion to IPL franchise Kochi Tuskers Kerala for terminating its contract in 2011, a massive mark-up on the Rs3 billion the team's promoters were initially willing to settle for.

ICC grants 15-day amnesty to Sri Lanka for reporting info on corruption
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Wednesday announced a 15-day amnesty from January 16-31 for those officials in Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) who failed to report any information concerning corrupt conduct previously to the apex governing body. BCCI announces cash awards after historic series win in Australia
MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced cash rewards for all the players, coaches and other support staff who were a part of India’s first ever Test series win in Australia recently. Players who featured in the playing XI will receive Rs 1.5 million each per Test (Rs 6 million for the 4 Test series) while the reserve players stand to earn Rs 750,000 per Test game.
