NEW DELHI: Star Sports Friday announced its partnership with the Asian Legends League as official broadcast partner for the next three seasons, spanning from 2024 to 2026. 

The Asian Legends League, a platform for former retired cricket legends from Asian countries, is set to showcase the talents of iconic players in a league format.

The league, organized by World Sports Group (WSG), will feature five franchise teams representing renowned cricketing nations: Indian Royals, Sri Lankan Lions, Bangladesh Tigers, Pakistan Stars, and Afghanistan Pathans.

MUMBAI: Discovery branded sports channnel DSport has acquired the broadcast rights of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, to be organised by Sri Lanka Cricket and also featuring India and Bangladesh. The 2018 Nidahas Trophy will be played from 15-30 March. The T20 tournament is being played to celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th year of independence.

NEW DELHI: Discovery branded sports channel DSport has acquired the broadcast rights of Bellator MMA for India. DSport, which was launched in February 2017, currently has wrestling promotions like Lucha Underground, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling as its MMA offerings for the Indian market.
