2021 T20 World Cup

MUMBAI: Indian multi-game platform Games24x7 has launched a new campaign for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup on its fantasy sports platform My11Circle.

The campaign titled “Game keDeewane” celebrates the passion and dedicated support of Indian cricket fans. In a rather unique proposition, the campaign, which starts tomorrow- October 17th (with the first World Cup qualifying match), involves the reward money getting doubled, every time Team India wins the match.

MUMBAI: With the BCCI expected to secure a one month’s extension to revert to the ICC on hosting the T20 World Cup in India, the focus has shifted to the modalities of such an eventuality.  What is clear is that IF the world governing body agrees to allow the BCCI to deliver the event "in-house", what can definitively be ruled out is that the games will NOT be allotted to nine venues as was originally envisaged.

Though India is scheduled to host the tournament, the general sentiment among cricket administration circles points to the mega event being shifting to the UAE.
