MUMBAI: Defending champions Mumbai Indians Saturday unveiled its jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
Designed by the fashion designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil, the jersey captures the composition of the 5 basic elements of the Universe - Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky, each signifying the essence of the five-time champions.
As per an official release, "these elements hold an astronomical essence as the building blocks of the human body, each signifying a power of the Universe".
