DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Sunday welcomed its newest member countries, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Switzerland at the ICC’s 78th annual general meeting.

The meeting, which was conducted virtually, welcomed Mongolia and Tajikistan as the 22nd and 23rd Members of the Asia region, whilst Switzerland is Europe’s 35th member, with the ICC now comprising 106 Members in total, including 94 Associates.

LUSAKA: Staying away from the clay court season of the tennis tour, 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer arrived in Zambia on Sunday to check on his foundation, which operates in the rural parts of Zambia. Federer called on Zambian President Edgar Lungu at State House upon arrival in the southern African nation's capital on Sunday.
