MUMBAI: Even as the Board of Control for Cricket in India is coming under increasing attack for allowing the Indian Premier League to go ahead in the middle of a catastrophic pandemic, the BCCI has reportedly granted permission to four of its affiliate associations - Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Mumbai and Saurashtra - to host their intra-state T20 leagues immediately after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League on May 30.

LONDON: The Federation of International Cricketers Associations (FICA), which is considered to be ‘The Global Cricketers Voice’, is all set to block a potential move by the game’s governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC) to restrict the participation of players to just 3 T20 leagues in a year.

NEW DELHI: The BCCI announced at its special general meeting (SGM) here recently that state associations were unanimous in taking further steps to nullify the threat posed by match fixers in domestic T20 leagues across the country.  As a result, the board has laid down strict guidelines regarding the same, according to a report in CricketNext.
