LONDON: Royals Sports Group (Emerging Media Sporting Holdings Ltd), owners of the Rajasthan Royals IPL franchise, Friday announced that they have acquired a majority stake in the Caribbean Premier League franchise Barbados Tridents.
The two-time CPL champions will be rebranded as the Barbados Royals, a partner franchise of the Rajasthan Royals, as the Royals Sports Group seeks to expand its global presence.
