MONTREAL, Canada: The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has extended the suspension of the country's National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) by another six months, citing non-conformation to international standards.

An original six-month suspension was imposed in August 2019 due to non-conformities with the International Standard for Laboratories (ISL) identified during a WADA site visit, including in relation to the laboratory’s isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC/C/IRMS) analytical method, as regulated by the relevant WADA Technical Document (TD2016IRMS).

NEW DELHI:  The suspension of Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) by the ICC has possibly opened up a window for the Indian cricket board as the BCCI is scheduled to host the southern African team for a Twenty20 series in January next year. India are scheduled to play three T20s against the Zimbaweans - in Guwahati on January 5, Indore on January 7 and Pune on January 10.
