MUMBAI: The Indian Federation of Sports Gaming (IFSG) on Friday announced the appointment of Mumbai's former police chief AN Roy as its strategic advisor.

Roy, whose contribution to the police force has been commendable, will play a strategic role and work closely with the IFSG board members to create guidelines for responsible industry practices.

"I am happy to join IFSG. Along with my fellow board members, I will work towards ensuring the fantasy sports users enjoy a fair playing environment and set industry benchmarks," Roy said.

Justice Sikri is an eminent jurist, a former judge of the Supreme Court of India and was recently appointed as a judge in the Singapore International Commercial Court.
