Cricket Association for the Blind in India

BENGALURU: The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) Friday announced Yuvraj Singh as brand ambassador for the 3rd T20 World Cup for the Blind, to be held in India.

The India squad list was announced with I. Ajay Kumar Reddy B2 (Andhra Pradesh) leading the team as captain and Venkateswara Rao Dunna – B2 (Andhra Pradesh) vice-captain. The World Cup matches commence from 6th December running through to 17th December.

MUMBAI: Recognizing that cash in hand is any day, and especially so in the current position, better than providing people with things that may have or many not want, the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, a pan India non-profit organization founded in 1997, with a vision to empower the visually impaired, disabled and marginalized people in India, has come up with a plan to help blind cricketers in India.

MUMBAI: The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) has plans in place to initiate an IPL-style T20 league for blind cricketers, The Indian Express reports. The move comes few months after India winning the Blind Cricket World Cup, establishing themselves as one of the most successful teams of all time in the sport.
