Venky’s Mumbai Fighters to take on Astana Arlans in the last Group match on Friday in Kazakhstan

Mumbai, February 16, 2012: The last group match of Venky’s Mumbai Fighters in the World Series Boxing is slated against Astana Arlans in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Friday.

While Light heavyweight Rahul Kumar and bantamweight Ivan Ilnytskyy will make their debut in the World Series of Boxing season 2011-12 for Fighters, Charly Suarez will remain the centre of attraction in the battle.
Kumar, the sole Indian in the squad for tomorrow’s match, is going to take on defending light heavyweight individual Abdelhafid Benchabla. Suarez, on the other hand in the Lightweight category, has already impressed the boxing fans with his knock-out win against Bangkok Elephants in Mumbai on February 3, 2012.

Arlans are ranked third in the points table of Group A with 19 points followed by Venky’s Mumbai Fighters with 14 points.
