It is now official! Hero MotoCorp, the world's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has decided not to renew its sponsorship deal with Indian football.

“Hero MotoCorp has decided to withdraw their sponsorship deal as they are facing internal issues,” sources close to the development revealed to Khel Now.

NEW DELHI: With less than a month to go for the $1.75 million Indian Open, the sorry state of affairs within the Indian Golf Union, promoter of the the country's richest and most prestigious golf tournament, has come under the scanner.  The Hero Indian Open, co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours, is scheduled to run from March 28-31st at the DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurgaon.

Hero MotoCorp and Woods' association began in 2014 and the announcement of the renewal of their partnership was made on the eve of the Hero World Challenge, which sees the world's top 18 golfers compete at the Albany, Bahamas.

NEW DELHI: Hero MotoCorp Ltd. on Tuesday announced that it has extended its more than a decade long support for the Indian Open by signing a new agreement to remain as the country's premier golf tournament's title sponsor. The Indian Open will also return to DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram for the second consecutive year, from March 8-11.
