Red Bull confirms chief designer Adrian Newey to step down

Red Bull have announced that Adrian Newey is to leave the team, with the esteemed F1 designer departing after almost 20 years at Milton Keynes.

Newey joined Red Bull ahead of their second F1 season in 2006 and has been instrumental in the squad’s success over the years, helping to turn the operation from midfield runners and points scorers into Grand Prix winners and world champions.

Saudi Arabia to stage Formula E's first night race
LONDON: Saudi Arabia will host Formula E’s first all-electric night race in Diriyah as part of the 2020/21 world championship calendar.  Formula E has confirmed that the all-electric ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will literally light up the streets of Diriyah as it returns to the historic desert surroundings of the UNESCO World Heritage site for a third year in a row.

Dunlop stays sole Moto2, Moto3 tyre supplier until 2023
MADRID: MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports Thursday announced a three-year contract extension that will see the FIM Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships continue racing on Dunlop tyres until at least 2023.  This new agreement extends an already longstanding partnership with Dunlop, who have been a vital part of the MotoGP paddock since the World Championship began in 1949.

Formula 1 announces provisional 23-race calendar for 2021
LONDON: Formula 1 has revealed the calendar for the 2021 season, with 23 Grands Prix on the provisional schedule for next year. The season will start in Australia in mid-March, finish in Abu Dhabi in early December, and feature the first-ever World Championship race in Saudi Arabia.
