New Delhi, 18th November: It has been a great year for racing events and fast cars in India. As racing and motorsport events in the country take a turn towards bigger, better, faster machines, events and associations, Gulf Oil brings to India the meanest, fastest car in the world – the Aston Martin Vantage GTE will be displayed at the Select City Walk mall in New Delhi.
The car will be raced at an exclusive event, Gulf Speed Bolt 2012, which will be held at the Buddh International Circuit on Monday. This event was introduced especially for the Indian market to showcase motorsport events, and began in 2008 with the Aston Martin Racing Drive Day at the Bandra-Worli SeaLink in Mumbai. In 2011, Speed Bolt enthralled Indian racing enthusiasts with the Gulf Top Fuel Drag Bike that demonstrated what it was all about at a specially prepared road strip in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
Gulf Oil is one of the most famous oil brands in the world with a rich history. It was founded in 1901 at the time of the discovery of oil at Spindletop, Texas and since then has grown from strength to strength, and is always looking for new partners to take the brand into new territories and new product markets.
