LONDON: West Indies cricket great Michael Holding and former England women’s team player Ebony Rainford-Brent, both of whom passionately came out in support of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement while doing commentary for Sky Sports, have been awarded the Freedom of the City of London for standing up against racism.
The Freedom of the City of London is a recognition awarded to people who have achieved success and recognition in their field.
