Ahead of Indian Open, mess within IGU in spotlight

NEW DELHI: With less than a month to go for the $1.75 million Indian Open, the sorry state of affairs within the Indian Golf Union, promoter of the the country's richest and most prestigious golf tournament, has come under the scanner. 

The Hero Indian Open, co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours, is scheduled to run from March 28-31st at the DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurgaon.

UK court orders winding up of MP & Silva

MP & Silva awarded Copa America 2019 global commercial rights
SINGAPORE: The council of CONMEBOL has unanimously awarded the contract for the consultancy and commercialization of Copa America 2019 to MP & Silva. The tender and adjudication were supervised by the auditing firm Ernst & Young. MP & Silva will be responsible for the consulting, sales and after-sales services of the oldest and most prestigious tournament of CONMEBOL, the Copa America Brazil 2019.

MP&S names former WSG exec to head global production, distribution
SINGAPORE: MP & Silva has appointed James Clarke as global head of Production & Distribution. Clarke will be responsible for building the group’s global in-house production capability across all sports properties managed by MP & Silva and developing distribution systems for content managed by the company.
