Sportswear brand New Balance has launched an exclusive brand outlet in Mumbai as part of its strategic expansion plan for India. Located on the metro’s Linking Road, the store was inaugurated by cricketer and brand ambassador Pat Cummings.

New Balance recently launched an India subsidiary and its new Mumbai store is designed to mix sports and culture, showing its vision for continued expansion in the country. The Linking Road store’s design centres around central seating to promote community building and red overhead lighting mirrors New Balance’s striking logo.

Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas giant Aramco has entered into a four-year global partnership with world football governing body FIFA.  As FIFA’s worldwide partner, the deal, which runs until the end of 2027, gives Aramco exclusivity in the energy category, with sponsorship rights for multiple events, including the World Cup 2026 and Women’s World Cup 2027.

Indian sports and athleisure company Agilitas Sports has acquired exclusive licensing rights to design, manufacture, and distribute Italian shoe brand Lotto in India, Australia, and soon South Africa for a period of 40 years for an undisclosed fee. Agilitas Sports, which acquired the rights from WHP Global, is co-founded by former PUMA India and South-East Asia managing director Abhishek Ganguly.
