Delhi-based Omaxe Ltd announced Monday that the realty firm's wholly owned subsidiary and SPV - Worldstreet Sports Center - will be developing India's first integrated multi sports facility consisting of an international cricket and football stadium, an indoor stadium along with a retail and hospitality hub spread across an area of 50.40 acres in Delhi's Dwarka area for around Rs 1,500 crore ($180 million). 

The cost of construction will be funded through internal accruals and the company is expecting a revenue of around Rs 2,500 crore through the sale of retail units.

LONDON: The ATP has announced the Top 18 countries in the ATP Cup Standings and Australia, host wild card, as qualifiers for the inaugural ATP Cup, to be held from 3-12 January in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney. NEW DELHI: India’s Davis Cup tie against Pakistan has now been rescheduled to take place in Islamabad on either November 29 and 30, or November 30 and December 1. The two-day Asia/Oceania Group 1 match-up will be subject to another security review before the tie, the All India Tennis Association (AITA) announed on Friday.

LAUSANNE: Taking cognisance of India's concerns, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has postponed next month's Davis Cup Asia/ Oceania Group 1 away tie between India and hosts Pakistan. The ITF made the decision "following an in-depth security review of the current situation in Pakistan by independent expert security advisors". Islamabad was scheduled to host the tie on September 14 and 15.

THE TELE-CONFERENCE between the Indian tennis federation and the international body ITF's security consultants on the upcoming Davis Cup tie between India and Pakistan was on Monday pushed to August 20. India's non-playing Davis Cup captain Mahesh Bhupathi, who was to be part of the conference call, informed that the discussions have been postponed by a day, a newswire PTI report said.
