MUMBAI: A day after Viacom18 won the exclusive rights to digitally stream Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in the Indian subcontinent, as well as composite media rights to three of five international territories, the network's CEO, Sports, Anil Jayaraj, sent out in an internal email to his colleagues on the portents of the prized acquisition for the company.

MUMBAI: Gaming start-up Zupee has entered into a revenue-sharing partnership with Jio Platforms Ltd, alongside raising $72 million Series B funding from WestCap Group, Tomales Bay Capital, Nepean Capital, AJ Capital, Matrix Partners India and Orios Venture Partners.
The fresh funds are part of the company’s $102-million Series B funding round, of which $30 million was raised in August 2021.
