LONDON: IMG ARENA, a leading sports data and technology business, announced Monday a strategic investment in Swedish computer vision specialist Signality. 

Providing IMG ARENA with a controlling interest, the investment will enhance IMG ARENA’s data collection capabilities with leading computer vision and camera technologies.

Nike invests in hands-free footwear tech firm
BEAVERTON, Ore.: Nike Inc. on Wednesday announced a strategic investment in and exclusive intellectual property licensing partnership with Handsfree Labs Inc., a pioneer in hands-free footwear technology.  The technology enables consumers to step in and out of shoes more easily without lacing or the use of hands. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
