NEW DELHI: Delhi and Districts Cricket Association president Rajat Sharma has resigned from his position for a second (and presumably final) time. This time though, DDCA ombudsman Justice (Retd) Badar Durrez Ahmed has accepted the resignation of the noted media personality and promoter of the pro-government Hindi news channel India TV.
Ahmed signed Sharma's resignation letter, nearly a fortnight after staying the first one submitted on November 16, citing "various pulls and pressures" within the organisation".
