MUMBAI: Returning after the forced break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Tennis Premier League organised an auction to pick players for the eight franchises that will make up the third season.

“I am super excited about the Tennis Premier League Season 3, simply because we are not just coming back after the pandemic, but we are coming back enhanced," Leander Paes, co-owner of the Mumbai Leon Army and a mentor of the event, said.

MUMBAI: The Tennis Premier League (TPL) is prepping for its third season. With team owners like Leander Paes, Sonali Bendre, Rakul Preet Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Divya Khosla Kumar backing the league, the next season will see a  host of changes, which will be announced as soon as the lockdown, necessitated by the COVID-19 panedemic, is eased.

MUMBAI: To cater to the growing popularity of tennis and to give a platform to the nation’s young talent, Tennis Premier League (TPL), Wednesday announced dates for its second edition. TPL will be held from December 12 to 15 at the Celebration Sports Club in Andheri, Mumbai. A total of eight teams featuring 88 players, across categories, will be in action.
