LONDON: The annual conference of the International Cricket Council, which kicked off Monday, a day after the World Cup final at Lord's, is expected to see the ICC working group for "sanctioning of events and players release" introduce a proposal wherein the players who are no longer centrally contracted and in national reckoning be allowed to play in global Twenty20 leagues.

"The working group is still considering how to balance demands of international cricket and domestic T20 and that is one possible thing up for debate," a top official told PTI.
